Shipping Policy

All orders are processed within 3 to 7 working days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation. You will receive an email from us as notification when your order has shipped.

Shipping and Insurance Rates and Estimates

Shipping and shipping insurance rates vary hugely from item to item depending upon value, dimensions, weight and destination. Once we have your confirmed order, we will determine the safest and most effective shipping method (and shipping insurance, if applicable) and communicate the cost to you by separate email.
You will need to make this payment prior to the item being shipped.
Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes (including GST), which are incurred once a shipment reaches your destination. Dennis Shorty Arts is not responsible for these charges if they are applied and they are your responsibility as the customer.

Order Status Check?

When your order has shipped, you will receive an email from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available.
If you haven’t received your order within 7 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you. We do not generally ship to P.O. boxes.

Refund and Return Policy

We accept returns up to 30 days after delivery, if the item is unused and in its original condition, and we will refund the full order amount minus the shipping costs for the return.
In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, please email us as soon as possible at with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition. We address these on a case-by-case basis but will try our best to work towards a satisfactory solution.

Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we cannot offer you a refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 5 business days.

If you do not receive the refund, first check your bank account again and then contact your credit card company as it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at

Sale Items

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded. We only replace items if they are defective or damaged.

Shipping Returned Items

To return your product, you should mail your product to the contact address on our website. You will be responsible for paying for the shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you. If you are shipping an item over $50, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot be held responsible if we do not receive your returned item(s).

What We Do with Your Information

When you purchase something from our store, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address. With your permission, we may send you emails about our store, new products and other updates. We never sell or give any information that you provide us to any Third Party. We may use your email to send you updates on products, art events and workshops conducted by Dennis Shorty Arts from time to time. If you change your mind about receiving information from us at any time, you may withdraw your consent for us to contact you by emailing us at


When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, arrange for a delivery or return a purchase, it is implied that you consent to that information being collected and used for that specific purpose only.
